Co-Creator: Organizations Building New Ecosystem Norms

  • Assign one or more staff and/or Board members to actively participate in the work of the Collective on standing Action Teams and ad-hoc activities to develop new solutions for advancing equity 

  • Encourage participation in equity training either by making training provided by the Collective available its staff and Board or through participation in other training opportunities  

  • Support efforts to collect and report data disaggregated by race and gender for mutually agreed up on metrics that help the Collective understand the current and changing state of entrepreneurship for women and people of color 

  • Develop and implement racial and gender equity lenses to be applied to the decision-making processes in their organizations 

  • Share their organizational goals and strategies for creating a more diverse, inclusive and equitable ecosystem, including addressing unconscious bias and equity-driven standard operating procedures to support a sustainable community of practice 

  • Help identify ways to help amplify the work of the Collective 

  • Engage in ongoing work and dialogue to create and sustain a culture of practice for creating equity in entrepreneurship in St. Louis 

Activator: Organizations Living New Ecosystem Norms

  • Encourage participation in equity training either by making training provided by the Collective available its staff and Board or through participation in other training opportunities

  • Engage in ongoing work and dialogue to create and sustain a culture of practice for creating equity in entrepreneurship in St. Louis

Advocate: Individuals Committed to the Work of the Collective

  • Participate in the work of the Collective on an Action Team 

  • Participate in the racial and gender equity training provided by the Collective  

  • Serve as an ambassador for the work of the Collective by in your spheres of influence 

  • Help identify ways to help amplify the work of the Collective 

  • Engage in ongoing work and dialogue to create and sustain a culture of practice for creating equity in entrepreneurship in St. Louis
